Phineas and Ferb

Phineas and Ferb started in 1992 when co-creator Dan Povermire drew a quick sketch of a triangle kid (which later becomes Phineas) while dining at the Wild Thyme restuarant in South Pasadena, California.
Early attempts to make the show was failed. The show was rejected by Cartoon Network, Fox Kids (now Disney XD) and Nickelodeon.
Fast-forward to 2006, the pilot for the show started production and was picked up as a 24-episode series by Disney Channel.
The series began airing on August 17, 2007 as a sneak preview and on February 1, 2008 as a official preview.
The first series was a commercial success and Disney Channel renewed the show for a second season.
On December 5, 2008, the first series ended with episode 24b "Out to Launch".
The second series started on March 13, 2009 and have 41 episodes.
A 30-minute clipshow "Phineas and Ferb's Cliptastic Countdown" was aired on Summer 2009.
