What would've been the first domed stadium in the world
This unbuilt stadium for Brooklyn Dodgers before they ultimately decided to relocate to Los Angeles in 1957, was going to be located at Fort Greene, Brooklyn and the area for the proposed stadium would later be utilised for the Atlantic Terminal shopping mall and Brooklyn Nets' arena Barclays Center. The first domed stadium would happen in 1965 with the Houston Astrodome.
