If you're wondering, I'm talking about both Super Sentai  and Power Rangers . The longest-running Super Sentai  season is Himitsu Sentai Goranger , which spanned 84 episodes from 1975 to 1977. The longest-running Power Rangers  season is the first season of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers , which spanned 60 episodes from 1993 to 1994.

After eight years and seven months, the main comic book series for Boom Studios' Power Rangers  will conclude in the end of this month with the Darkest Hour  one-shot but the universe will continue with the final arc of Ranger Academy  during this year but it's far from over as we're getting a crossover with Usagi Yojimbo  and the one-shot Power Rangers Infinity .  As confirmed by the publisher's Twitter account, more details will be revealed for the upcoming post- Darkest Hour  era/relaunch at the San Diego Comic Con later this month.
