My rewrites of DC media continuities – 3-4

DC Animated Universe

Batman: The Animated Series

  • Not very much.

Batman: Mask of the Phantasm

  • Not much to change on this.

Superman: The Animated Series

  • Supergirl is Kara Zor-El like in the comics instead of Kara In-Ze.

The New Batman Adventures

  • Jason Todd replaces Dick Grayson as Robin, before being injured and replaced by Tim Drake.

Batman & Mr. Freeze: Sub-Zero

  • This would take place after the end of Batman: The Animated Series and before Superman: The Animated Series.

Batman Beyond

  • Dick Grayson does appear and is married to Koriand'r.
  • Terry joins Titans Beyond instead of Justice League Beyond due to his age.

Gotham Girls

  • This would act more like Birds of Prey.

Static Shock

  • Black Lightning would be a recurring character in this version.

Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker

  • Joker Junior isn't Tim but an orphan named Jerome Valenska (a nod to Joker's Gotham counterpart).

The Zeta Project

  • Superman and Lois's son Jon would be a recurring character in this version.

Justice League

  • Hal is a founding member of the League before leaving and replaced by John.

Teen Titans

  • This would take place in this universe taking place after Sub-Zero and before Superman: The Animated Series.
  • Red X is a clone of Dick Grayson in this version.

Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman

  • Bruce's cousin Kate would appear in this and ultimately becoming Batwoman in the end.

Justice League Unlimited

  • Not much to change.

Superman: Brainiac Attacks

  • This would be set in this universe and would take place after the end of Superman: The Animated Series.

Legion of Super Heroes

  • This would be set in this universe and would take place after "New Kids in Town" (minus the memory erasure ending).

Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths

  • This would take place after Unlimited, instead of after Justice League, like in the original concept as in this version, John and Shayera leave the League and Hal rejoins the team.

Batman and Harley Quinn

  • This would take place after the end of Unlimited.

Justice League vs. the Fatal Five

  • This would take place after the end of Legion of Super Heroes.

Superman Donnerverse

Superman

  • Not much to change.

Superman II

  • Combination of the Lester and Donner versions.

Superman III

  • The tone is more closer to the previous two.

Supergirl

  • Directly connected to the previous films, hence Clark appears in the film.

Superman IV: The Quest for Peace

  • Nuclear Man is instead replaced by Metallo.

Steel

  • Directly connected to the films with Superman mentioned in the Daily Planet.

Superman Returns

  • Lois Lane is played by Parker Posey instead of Kate Bosworth.
