New genres to describe musical acts

Here's my own genres I coined to describe musical acts:

• The Smashing Pumpkins - Alternative pop with a twist of dream pop and alternative metal.
• Red Hot Chili Peppers - Alternative hard funk with a hint of rap, metal and punk rock.
• Pearl Jam - Soft grunge
• Nirvana - Grungecore
• Garbage - Synth-grunge
• No Doubt - New Pop Wave
• Evanescence - Gothic pop with a hint of nu metal.
• U2 - Alternative rock with soft melodic parts.
• Foo Fighters - Nu grunge
• The Killers - Post-New Wave
• Lenny Kravitz - Alternative hard rock
• Paramore - Emowave with a hint of pop grunge
• R.E.M. - Alternative pop.
• Aerosmith - Pop metal with a twist of blues
• My Chemical Romance - New punk
