The X Factor notable contestants

Season 1 (2004): Steve Brookstein (born 10 November 1968 in London, England) is the first winner of The X Factor. He released two albums: Heart and Soul (2005, Sony BMG) & Chasing Butterflies (2006, Numunu). He was dropped from Sony BMG in Summer 2005. He founded a record label called Numunu. He is currently working with his wife, Eileen Hunter on her album and currently recording his third album which will be released during 2010. G4 (formed early 2004 until late 2007) were the first runner-up of The X Factor. They released five albums: G4 (2005), G4 and Friends (2005), Live at The Royal Albert Hall (2005), Act Three (2006) and The Hits (2007). The Hits failed to chart because it was a fan-only release. Tabby Callagham (born April 22, 1981 in Sligo, Ireland) is the first 3rd place of The X Factor. He started his career as a member of the Irish band, Petronella (formed 1998 until 2004).
