In 2007, Ftn was rebranded as Virgin 1. And aired similar content as Sky One before being rebranded as Sky Atlantic in 2011.

Yep, the two major British cable TV operators NYK and Telewest merged to become NTL:Telewest, the largest cable TV operator in the country. It would be rebranded as Virgin Media a year later.
