Yes, really and it was going to be the tallest building in Ireland before plans were scrapped in 2013 due to financial concerns. Since then, the space has been occupied by the Capital Dock building that was completed in 2018.

A stadium that became Southside Wandsworth

In case you're wondering, Southside Wandsworth (formerly Wandsworth Arndale Centre from its opening in 1971 until 2004) was built on the site of Wandsworth Stadium, which was once a greyhound stadium and at the time the largest stadium in South West London, though that record is now held by Plough Lane, which is the home of football team AFC Wimbeldon.

This was in fact the Snowflake, which was a white chocolate Flake, covered in milk chocolate. It was introduced in 2000 before being discontinued eight years ago and I hope it returns one day.

In case you're wondering, the Vatican confirmed yesterday that Pope Francis passed away at age 88 and regardless of the scandals such as visiting US Vice President JD Vance in his last weeks despite him criticising the Trump administration, he definitely left an legacy and may he rest in peace. Given the title, I recall watching a news report on SIC about the death of Pope John Paul II back in April 2005, followed by Pope Benedict XVI's resignation in February 2013 and recently Francis' death in yesterday.
