  • 2011 – Comcast buys 51% of NBC Universal
  • 2012 – Acquisition of Lucasfilm by Disney, Acquisition of Summit by Lionsgate
  • 2013 – Comcast buys the remaining stake of NBC Universal they didn't own
  • 2014 – Focus Features merges with Film District
  • 2015 – Discovery Inc and Liberty Global acquires 6.5% of Lionsgate with the former owning 3% and the latter owning 3.5%
  • 2016 – Acquisition of Dreamworks Animation by NBC Universal, Acquisition of Starz by Lionsgate
  • 2017 – 20th Century Fox acquires a stake on Boom Studios
  • 2018 – AT&T and Time Warner merge to become Warner Media, Lantern Capital Partners acquires The Weinstein Company
  • 2019 – Acquisition of 21st Century Fox by Disney, Viacom and CBS Corporation remerge to become Viacom CBS
