"Defy You" proved to be the last to be recorded by The Offspring's most iconic line-up comprising of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Dexter Holland, lead guitarist Noodles, bassist Greg K. and drummer Ron Welty as Welty would be let go of the band in January 2003.
